1. What was the best thing you have ever bought?
I can’t think of one single “best” thing I’ve bought. Plus, there’s different kinds of “best.” My laptop would count as a “best” purchase in that it provided me the means to go back to college and get my degree, and it is how I pursue my livelihood as an editor and writer, not to mention that it gives me entertainment and connection to the world. And my Ninja Foodi would be a “best!” That thing makes my life SO much easier sometimes! Another “best” would be my 1990 cute little blue Miata convertible. I love my little island car! It’s brought me no end of joy!
2. What was the best book you have ever read?
Lots of possible answers to this one. The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood changed my life. That book is everything. The Harry Potter series, too, which made J.K. Rowling’s descent into transphobia hard on my soul. reading as much as I do, I’ve read a lot of great books over the years.
3. What is the best food you’ve ever eaten?
Oh, boy. I love a lot of things, so this one is hard, and none of it super bougie. Poke tacos at Duke’s Canoe Club, spicy ahi tuna at Uncle Bo’s, Loco Moco from L&L, coconut pancakes from Eggs ‘n Things, sushi from Banzai, and so much more!!
4. What was the best movie or TV series you’ve ever watched?
Best movie… this too is hard. On Golden Pond is up there, as Katharine Hepburn is my favorite actress. For TV… it’s a toss-up between M*A*S*H and ER.

You are right about what is considered best. There are so many different things to consider. I love that picture of you and your car.
I read The Handmaid’s Tale in college. It shocked me to say the least. Good book. I watched the tv series last summer, it is good too. Loved your answers. Have a nice week.

Cute car, and nice photo! I wouldn’t be able to answer those questions! “Bests” depend on so much. “Best” buy could be my house, but it could be my current puppy! “Best” food? Do we really have to pick one, pitting savories against sweets? Sometimes we want chocolate, and sometimes pizza! At the moment we eat it’s the “best” think we’ve ever eaten!
Oh! My son and I were watching/listening to something yesterday where a theme song was played and we’d guess the show. One was MASH. I was trying to decide if MASH was the best show, which it might have been, since I can’t remember the other one now! The Heat of the Night wasn’t there, but that was amazing too. I noticed the older shows had actors that were already big names, which may have been why the shows were so good. (My son is tired of, whenever MASH comes up, my mentioning the last episode. Amazing.)
