1. Whose performance of your nation’s anthem did you find especially stirring?
I’ve been watching a lot of hockey lately, thanks to it being Stanley Cup Playoff season. My favorite version was that sung by Bob McDonald and Caleb Green, both US Army vets who sing for the Washington Capitals. As a team, I hate the Caps. But I love their singers.

This morning, when I folded laundry.
3. When did you last toss something to someone?
Last night, when I tossed a napkin to my kid.
4. How do you feel about beets?
As something I am going to eat? Yeah, nah, brah. As something that exists in the world? You do you, boo.
5. What do you have mixed feelings about?
If I’m being real, most of humanity.
