1. If everyone carried personal cards (instead of business cards), what would you put on the line just beneath your name, where job titles usually go?
Calling cards… I still have some from my great-grandmothers from when they were commonplace. What would I put… Maybe “Join me for coffee and interesting conversation.”
2. What’s your favorite card game?
It’s a kids’ game but Moose Master. I watched a video on the SMOSH channel on YouTube and subsequently bought a deck. It’s a silly game that can get out of control and hilarious quickly. A couple runners-up…
- Cards Against Humanity: We have several decks, and it can be hysterical for family game night.
- Dutch Blitz: I grew up in Amish country, so this game was popular.
3. How confidently and competently do you shuffle a deck of cards?
Quite confidently and quite competently, although I don’t think I’m ready for the Vegas strip!
4. To whom did you last send a non-holiday, non-birthday greeting card?
Ooh, boy. I can’t remember the last time. Does handing my husband an anniversary card count?
5. When did you last jot something down on an index card?
It’s been a minute. I used to use them a lot for plotting my writing, but I do that digitally now.
I always thought calling cards were such a classy, romantic thing.
