Some people live to make these records. I once said to my dad who had floors of movie videos, ‘you should be in the Guinness book of world records,’ and he answered, ‘I just want the pain not the gain.’ I collect clothes (mostly thrift shop) but don’t have a big closet.
I’m not a huge collector, although I do have a small one of foreign language dictionaries. I am a nerd.
I wonder how long it took #11 to make her scarf. I would not have the patience for that. I have so many questions…
I once participated in a Guinness record. Biggest balloon release. 1985. It was done for Disneyland’s anniversary that year. I can’t remember how many balloons we blew up, but it was more than they had aimed for, so success. Sadly, the record didn’t last a year before it was broken.
Still… that’s a fun memory!!
Wow. I can’t imagine some of these. That scarf is amazing.
I like to crochet but no! Who has the patience?!
#2: I think it’s fascinating that the biggest Barbie collection is in Europe. Hooray for Bertha (#13)!
I feel like Barbie has to be one of the most collected items in the world.
i need to check out the book in #13.. and i would love to see that barbie collection (though i am not really a big fan of barbie dolls)
