There’s no song theme this week, so here’s a little holiday tune I love for you!
1. As you can see, when Sam Winters was a little girl, she loved giving her annual wish list to Santa. If you could ask Santa for anything at all, right now, what would it be?
Realistically, I’d love an Apple Watch. Or the New York Rangers’ centennial book. I have a whole lot of unrealistic wishes, mostly for the world in general
2. Are you currently on the Naughty or Nice list? How did you get there?
Probably depends on who you ask. I’d say Nice list as I haven’t done anything particularly evil. However, I have some nonfans among the red hat-wearing crowd. So there’s that.
3. Are you traveling this Christmas? If so, are you going by car, plane or train?
No traveling for this girl!
4. Did you ship any gifts to friends and family this year? If yes, which one traveled the farthest?
Kind of a close toss-up. I sent them from Oah’u to New York and Florida.
5. Did you buy yourself a gift this year?
A calendar. That’s it.
6. Which do you prefer: candy canes or gingerbread?
I won’t choose. You can’t make me.
7. Can you see any holiday decorations from where you’re sitting now?
Yup. I’m surrounded in my living room. And I love it.
8. What’s your favorite winter beverage?
Hot cocoa. Made with almond milk and with mini marshmallows. Bonus points for an added mini candy cane.
This one isn’t happy jolly, but one kid was sick with salmonella right up until Christmas Eve. And another kid was sick all night Christmas Eve into Christmas. But he rallied, even though we were going to postpone, and we spent the day opening gifts, watching movies, playing games.
I also have a few non fans in that crowd, they dislike me because I am not afraid to voice my opinion.
I think I’m going to add a candy cane to my next cup of hot chocolate, it sounds yummy
I’ve been drinking a lot of candy cane hot cocoa this winter. I prefer whipped cream to marshmallows, though.
I was sick last Christmas, too, but I didn’t mention that. We are having a quiet Christmas this year.
