1.Which of your area’s holidays (local or national) is, aside from its being a day off from work, is least meaningful to you?
Probably things like Arbor Day. Although, I admit, Thanksgiving feels cringey to me, so we don’t really follow tradition there.
2. Where in the calendar would you like to see a holiday created, not for any special reason other than its being a good time for it?
August could use a good holiday!
3. Do you prefer get-together holidays or just-a-day-off holidays?
I like holidays that allow for family togetherness.
4. How are you feeling about the coming holiday season?
Honestly, with the way the world is and the way my fall has gone? I’m looking forward to it. The decorations, the vibes, the family time. I desperately need it.
5. If you could start a holiday tradition this year — communal or solo — what would it be?
We have a lot of family traditions, so maybe a solo, pamper-myself kind of day. It can get hectic, so the down time would be welcome.
