We spent the weekend imitating garden slugs. In other words, we did as little as humanly possible. My heart just wasn’t into doing a whole lot that required any kind of motivation, after my dad’s news on Friday. So we headed to the Movie Gallery and rented a STACK of movies for the weekend. The kids got Space Buddies, which I am pretty sure they watched at least 16 times!! I rented Saw III and Saw IV for Donovan, which normally I would have been all over, but I just wasn’t in the mood for scary. I also got Gigantic for him, which I also watched and just could NOT get into. But he is in love with Zooey Deschanel, so all was well with him. I also got 17 Again, which I didn’t really expect to like all that much, but it was pretty good after all. I had been trying to rent He’s Just Not That Into You since it came out, and finally managed to get it. It was good, but not as good as I had hoped. Definately not one I will be buying any time soon. I also indulged in a couple of Channing Tatum movies, always good for someone feeling like hell. I got Fighting, which I LOVED and watched a few times, and not just because it had Chan in it! I also got Step Up, a total chick indulgence, but I don’t care. He is yummy and dance movies like that are my dirty pleasure! So it was a weekend of junk food and movies and relaxation and an attempt at a semi-zen-like existence.

A completely lazy weekend,…
reading time: < 1 minute
That sounds like a very productive weekend! I want one of those!!! ::hugs::
It sounds like you had a good weekend. Lazy weekends are always nice.
Have you seen P.S. I Love You? I didn’t think I would like it at all.. didn’t know too much about it really, but Netflix kept suggesting it to me due to other movies I had rated and I ended up loving it. I would have to say it is now one of my all time favorite romance movies. I laughed, cried, laughed, cried, then laughed some more. I will probably blog about it sometime but it may end up having a bit of a spoiler in it.
